ICT is essential in our daily lives, impressing how we access and interact with information.

What about computer history?

Charles Babbage is the founder and the father of the computer. The Analytical Engine is the first computer built with the basic theory of a computer that input , process and output. Conceptualized by him in the 1830s, is considered one of the earliest designs for a general-purpose computer. It was designed to use punch cards for input and would have been capable of performing various calculations and tasks.

The first computer, the ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer), was built in 1946. It was massive, occupying a whole room, and its primary purpose was to perform complex calculations for military applications. ENIAC marked the beginning of the computer age, paving the way for modern computing.
